Hotel Rickmers Insulaner – Menu
The Rickmers Galerie Restaurant at the Hotel Rickmers Insulaner is located directly on the promenade of the Unterland, at the interface between the promenade at the Südstrand and the historic lobster shacks.
The indoor and outdoor seating offers not only a view of the harbour, the roadstead and Düne, but also a view of the lively hustle and bustle of the islanders and their guests. However, ‘gallery’ does not just stand for the panorama. As a guest in the restaurant, you have access to a unique collection of original Heligoland paintings, many of which illustrate the history of the island.
In addition, the menu includes dishes with a history, ranging from the meagre food of centuries past, which served only to sustain life, to the luxurious dishes of the exclusive seaside resort.
